Distilled from 100% Scottish barley and malted to 108.2 PPM, this limited-edition Octomore combines intense peat smoke with exceptional elegance and cask-driven complexity.
Matured in a combination of second-fill bourbon and wine casks, before a finishing period in first-fill French ex-Cognac casks, Octomore 15.2 develops layers of toasted oak, caramel, nutmeg and delicate floral notes. Its dry peat smoke and mineral character are beautifully balanced by the softness and richness of the French oak.
Bottled at a powerful 57.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, Octomore 15.2 is an exceptional choice for collectors and lovers of heavily peated Islay whisky. Despite its youthful age, it delivers remarkable depth, finesse and a long, smoky finish.
